Reston Zoo

The kids and I decided to make a trip to the Reston Zoo a couple of week end's ago while Justin was in NC. It''s not to far from the house and it was fun for the kids. It is a small zoo, mostly consisting of rabbits, sheep, goats, horses and some reptiles. Not to mention is had a small ride that you could take to go see bulls, a camel, zebra's and bison.

Jack didn't like the sheep, for one they smelt funny and two it was not fun feeding them.

Hannah made a cute sheep, plus she smelt better. Jack was quite content just sitting in his stroller the whole time.

BreAnden was our photographer for the day, she did a great job trying to capture a picture of all the animals there.

This is Jack the Camel, it was the kids favorit animal of the day, I think because his name was Jack.

Reston Zoo was fun over priced for what it was, $10 for an adult, $8 for a child 3 and older. the ride was included in the price but the horse ride was $4 extra per kid. Sad to say it only took us less then 2 hours to walk the whole thing. Don't spend your money here, go to the National Zoo instead.
