Shenandoah National Park

What and amazing place the Shenandoah National Park is and not to far from home. However we went a little unprepared. Justin didn't tell me where we were going that day; wanted to keep it a surprise. So I didn't plan on packing towels and swimsuits, nor did Justin. Here are the girls trying so hard not to get wet after we told them not too. Pants are rolled up and so far they are minding.

Jack however was in the water before we could even take his clothes off of him. The water was so nice and warm the day was beautiful.

Dad and the kids still being good and not getting wet.

Here are the girls being daring and making there way out into deeper water. Then whoops Hannah takes a tumble and that was the end of them being dry.
After so long a diaper can only hold so much water and let me tell you this diaper was over it's limits. It had to come off.
So it did!!

How can anything compare with this beauty? Well I have to admit I can think of several things on this earth that do, but still it was gorgeous. Dad and the girls here found a pool to play in while Jack and mom waited back on shore. This day turned out to be a good one until just as the dad and the kids were walking back in out of the river Hannah started screaming in pain that something had bitten here. We bring her out and there on her right leg she had two marks on her leg that looked like a snake had bitten her. We got the bleeding to stop and rushed her up to ask the Park Ranger if there is anything piousness in the waters. He told us that there wasn't but it could of been a water snake or a insect that lives in the water. I forgot the name of the insect but as soon as we got home Justin looked it up on the Internet and it is by far the ugliest thing we have ever seen. It is long furry, and has to small pincher's up front. All in all I'm glad it wasn't Jack that got bit, since he was the one that had his diaper off. I hope you know what I mean!!!

This is it, this thing here is the thing that bit Hannah; we think. It's ugly, nasty, and shouldn't be aloud in the river or any pool of water. It's just not right!!!
