We tried, we tried, we tried. But no matter what we did there was no helping this thing out. It must of been an old Ginger Bread kit from last year. The icing was not coming out of the bag, it would not stick to the cookie, the candy would not stick to the icing. The kids tried and tried. After several attempts to get the roof to attach we finally gave up; I gave up!!! I took the icing and just squeezed it out of the bag all over the house and the kids took the candy and smashed it into the icing. 
In the end the kids had fun, we got some good laughs and we all got to taste it. Thank goodness no one got sick.

Well, it still looks pretty tastey...and I love how Jack always looks so GQ!
As long as the kids are having fun...who cares how it turns out. Those are the best times they`ll remember.
It had to have been a kit because anything you bake is so Martha and comes out perfectly!
I think there is a little irony in the name of your blog and this particular post.
